    Outside, somewhere near, the world would soon be waking. He had watched it wake from the window of this very room, day after day, stirring itself to another round of fruitless pursuits, and he d known, known, that there was nothing left out there to excite him.
    I decided to try out my closed eye visuals and I was instantly impressed. There were neon coloured patterns mostly consisting of a balanced mix of sharp lines and sharply shaped blocks  of a certain bright colour that were all connected in strange shapes, they reminded me of psychedelic art, with their very bright colourful but rather simple patterns.
    I shut my eyes; the previously nondescript shapes are no longer nondescript and random. The shapes now mimic my field of vision at the moment my eyes shut. Upon closing my eyes, outlines of whatever I was last looking at appear in my minds eye in a metallic greyscale. The shimmering framework then populates with color. Initially reds, yellows and oranges dominate the scene. After a few moments, blues and greens begin to manifest as well. It takes around ten seconds for the snapshot  to be colored in completely, at which point the objects slowly shift and melt until they are undistinguishable and abstract.
